Morning All,
Yesterday was a long day for me. Left my house at 8:15 a.m. did not get back home until 9:00 last night. I'm really sorry to say I did not get any pictures from Apple Hill. But let me tell you what a day. 15 miles of apple farms, thousands and thousands of PEOPLE. Just trying to get there was hectic. The traffic was backed up for miles and this is on very busy freeway as it takes you to South Lake Tahoe. It tooks an hour and half to get to the first farm which is the most popular. Every kind of apple you imagine, the pies were to die for, the aromas of the pies baking and bbq's going, kettle corn etc. my stomach was growling. Food lines were 40-45 minute waits. The one thing missing was the fall colors, hardly any trees have started changing colors. I will be planning another trip next year but I think I'm going to go with a gf. My daughter and her family are not into the crafting part of things so therefore they just kind of walked thru said ok next one. Didn't give my mom and I a chance to look at things. I would have taken lots of pictures of the different vendors but it was so crowded that all I would get was people.

Before we left to go to Apple Hill, we stopped by a park that was having a small festival and a contest. This first picture is of a lady spider that my son-in-law's mother made. It is made of concrete. I don't know what she used for body parts except the legs are those noodle things you use in the water. Following will be other pictures of contestants.
