I have several growing now that come to mind immediately: the St. Joseph Lily (Hippeastrum x johnsonii) shown below, the Indian Hawthorn (Raphiolepis indica), Wheeler's Dwarf Pittosporum, the banana trees, and my Azaleas.

They have not only survived the intense Louisiana heat, drought, floods, freezes, and poor soil, etc., but have flourished.
