I leave though for Sitka for a long 3 weeks of absence and the garden will be gone when I get home. Though I look forward to the warm fires of winter and a good book in my chaise. I have decided to no longer rake the needles but rather suck them and the old mulch and blow it back with my debris loader each year making the mulch richer with chopped finer mulch.
