It has been a rollercoaster with this small pond this year. First there were liner problems with took a while to figure out, then the galvanized pool had to be put in but I had to think of a way for the waterfall to work without the outer edges of the pond being washed into it. That is the reason for the cinderblocks. Well that worked for little while and then the water level went down drastically again. Filled up the pool, turned off the falls and it seemed that there was a problem with the brand new galvanized pool as the water level dropped drastically again. NO WAY am I digging up that pool. Went to the home depot and explained what was going on and asked if there was something I could seal the seams with. Got sold some tar that was supposed to be good for that purpose... NOT. The stuff would harden up in the air and melt in the water. Lined the pool with another liner (which was a gift from the store I purchased the pool from) and finally put the cinderblocks back. Lot of fish loss this year. Not a lot of time for the poor plants to fill in but I think they will look good next year from the little I am seeing right now.
