I have had difficulty keeping H. nummularioides alive. This is a cutting from a beautiful, large EA basket I had last year. The vines/stems were drying up and dying and I kept cutting them and trying to root them, some in soil, some in perlite, some in water. I had no idea any of this was still even half alive but when I was watering plants out on the deck this afternoon I found this little guy hiding amongst a bunch of little pots of cuttings in deep shade, just blooming away. Smells so good, really sweet! Maybe there is hope for me and this plant after all ... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
