Anyway, about three days ago, I suddenly noticed that this spider was hanging from it's web. As you can see in the photo, one of it's front legs(?) is stuck to some sort of thread that is attached to the main web above. Is this spider molting? It is still alive and I'm worried that if it's not molting, then it might somehow be caught in it's own web... I'm seriously considering cutting or tearing whatever thread is keeping it attached to it's web above. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
