Some people are able to catch a big break and become famous, but they are few and far between. What always bothered me, especially as I tried making a living selling ceramics, and they don't go for as much as the fine arts, is that people just weren't willing to pay for the time you put into it. I would put as much as 30 or 40 hours of work into a ceramic piece, not to mention that fact that it would have to be fired 4 times. Well, I could go on and on about that, but I better stop here. I thought I would share some of my cartoon style art. Karen This is something I did back in the 80's, a stationery design for a mail order company I started selling only fantasy/sci-fi designs. Didn't last very long. I wasn't good at running a business to begin with. Didn't really know what I was doing. |
