I just bought my first caudiciforms 2 weeks ago, HELP! I wonder if I can buy just 1. LOL I am so sorry about your plants. I would have bopped my DH on the head for sure. Hello Chrissy from Australia! We are getting so many Australian plants here in California now. I love them! I would love to come to see your homeland. I hear you farizona. Brugs are so bug prone, they are challenging! Oh Elva, a big HELLO to you. I feel so guilty that I suck at emailing. I am so good at putting responding off till tomorrow but tomorrow never comes. I have no clue what I do all day. I have kept tabs on you thru Ada though. I miss your sunshine personality and your enthusiasm for life! Actually Susie now lives in a huge house that is so beautiful and has a huge garden and even a fruit orchard. She rents out that condo. She is painting a lot now, watercolors. She has shows for her artwork. I do not think she is into brugs at all anymore but to tell the truth we have not talked brugs in a couple of years. LOL, how things change. I doubt she knows Red's parents, she sent me hundreds of seeds. I can ask her though. She lost the cutting of Ruthie I gave her years ago, I do believe. Hi Liz, I know I have the parents written some where on my computer along with Ruthie's. I have been meaning to answer your email but as I mentioned above I so suck at it. I actually went out to check if I had some side shoots on Ruthie for you but I do not. It is about 16 feet high and grew from a dead stump from winter up thru a forest over winter. She is a natural standard. It is towering over everything now. I thought I had lost Ruthie forever. But Ruthie is such a survivor. When I went into the jungle to check for you, I could not believe that I had a new shoot from another dead Ruthie stump from 2 YEARS AGO!! No growth at all for over 2 years, so surely that plant must have been dead but it resurrected itself. How is that even possible. Got to admire a plant like that. I will be cutting her down soon to root for I dare not tempt fate a 3rd time. I can get a couple end pieces for you then. Here is the shoot from a stump that is over 2 years dead. |
