Hi Dollie..
well that Pistol Pete is unusual... quite a flower ... is it one of your making.. I'd love to have one.. Thanks... I'll get it in a place where I might get a good picture of it flowering with the city in the background for you.. most of the cannas do rel well for me... folks comming by have difficulty IDing them as Cannas... as they are so much bigger than they are used to seeing them. guess it 's the full sun and roof heat... well also incessently feeding every thing here... lots of organics... and plenty of growth spurs.. and hormones.. flower inducers... I'm pretty mercyless in boosting them up..
so back to your post as to how much of the recipe you use.. did you say you used a cup of it.. is that to a gallon of water.... I've got to increase my doseage then...
well all the best to you there... Gordon
OH.. glad to hear your local wildlife is uneffected... guesss it's some other local reason.. like the year they sprayed for the mosquito West Nile virus... and since then I see only a few honey bees.. Oh we'll spray at night .. and only get the mosquitoes... RIGHT.. they have to remember... there will be concenquences .. AND...not all will be evident from the beginning
here's my 12' baby and she flowers too..
