Had idea for silkie galoshes based on four-footed furry life form booties that prevent ice cuts on delicate foot pads. Dog requires basket muzzle so he does not pull off booties. If he doesn't wear booties, he bleeds profusely on the snow (and carpet when he comes in). Booties are Kelly's old socks with gentle elastic around the top. Commander Moxon thinks that silkie galoshes could be modeled on this practice and encourages ZZ to do further investigation...
