Thanks RedChic, I love your Delph shots. I love the Dahlias but I think next year I need to find some shorter varieties. These were 5 feet tall. Difficult to manage with staking and weather damage but they are so pretty it makes me want to keep trying. Went to the Dahlia Show out here on Long Island last weekend at the Planting Fields Arboretum. Beautiful old estate gardens. I would recommend a visit for anyone coming out this way. Here's a beautiful Clematis archway leading to a greenhouse. |
