Stella the goat has taken to sleep on top of the food buckets.. I don't know why, but I guess shes happy, she has a nice toasty bed, but chooses to stretch across 3 plastic flat-topped totes. Who am I to question. The 101 cornish chicks are warm & toasty in the garage in their new bed. They have 2 red lights and a dark warm spot, plenty of water and I have removed their food for the night. Yes, they do grow by the minute. Chicken Fairy, it has been a full and exausting day, for us all. It has been both physical & emotional, and I believe a lot has been said online today that I am sure tomorrow in the light of day many of us might wish we hadn't typed... Chicken Fairy.. how I wish you could sprinkle some of your dust tonight and have everyone wake up in the morning under a new and refreshed frame of mind. Daves Poultry & Livestock is where I come to be with my friends and share my day and learn with my friends that have things in common with me.. These folks here, Chicken Fairy, understand me.. they don't roll their eyes they way my family does when I panick if a rooster has a hurt comb.. or a crooked toe.. or just coos in a funny way.. Help us Chicken Fairy.. Help us to be the family we were yesterday, be that again tomorrow, Thanks for listening Chicken Fairy. the takeover: |
