While I don't have anything nearly as cool as Ardesia's bat flower, I do have a cute little "volunteer" cardinal flower. Usually these are deep red, but this little cutey is orange. I found it while weeding and am training it along the miles of ugly field fencing that I own. It's in deep shade and I'm hoping it will bloom a bit more when it gets a little sun.
