I know this isn't a great pic and the flower isn't gorgeous, but it looks more like
my Purple Blizzard from last yr. So I'm happy to see it. With the crazy weather,we've had this year, I'm lucky to have any blooms.
Ron, my bamboo sticks came from Lowes, 25 (3) feet for 3.99, about 20 (4) feet for same price. I also bought some 5 footers for same price but only 8 in pkg.
Also, the thickness varies within each pk. Some pieces are from the top of the
bamboo pole so nice and slim. Others are from the bottom half of the cane, so stockier and
almost too heavy for my pots. I have used the tiny diameter dowels, 2/8 or 3/8
of an inch, available from all the Lowes, H'D's etc. They don't last as long. But they were dirt cheap
