Victor, that is Erica vagans and it starts blooming usually in July, but I trimmed them all late this year, so it has only been about 2 weeks. Now you've got me on 'little critter' watch. this grasshopper was perched on the handle of my fence gate. when I finally reached up to shoo him off he flew right in my face. should have squashed him LOL
