That picture you took from the plane almost looks surreal! And that is some Glacier winding it's way between the mountains.

It almost looks like the "Harding Ice Field". Please Google that!--there is too much to explain here what it is. I won't try......But--we did fly over a small part of it in that 4-seater....
Even if that cost each of us $150 for the hour--it was the most memorable thing to see all that beauty from the air!

Here is ONE picture of the harding Ice Field. The rocky points you see sticking out of the ice are the TOPS!!!!! of the mountains.....!!! This Ice Field is the "Mother Lode" of all the Glaciers that slither down from it (maybe 30-35) and make their way over the centuries to the sea.....
I could dig out all my pamphlets on it and fill you in a bit more--but Googling is much easier.....
