My friend didn't have much luck with hers but mine has done very well. It's pretty big for a Northern houseplant and blooms all the time for me. Here is a picture from last winter. The leaves were a little sparse when I took this picture but it was flowering like crazy.
One of these days I need to take cuttings and see if I can get them to root.
