Shadow I think I have seen what you are talking about which is usually a leaf forming at the upper portion of the petiole. This looks similar other than it is just popping out of the petioles their is not slice down the petiole were it is forming like a normal leaf. On this a odd knot forms and a new plant starts to grow out of it. Here is another photo of the plant. |
