I know they take a long time to bloom, some probably do get lucky with budding in 3 or 4 years.

Jim and Pat's epis go so quickly, I guess, because they are good growers of healthy plants.

I also read somewhere that these only bloom from a point on the leaf but once. After all those points have bloomed, no more. Time to make it a new plant.
