I have some vines that are leafless and on their way out. But they have developing seed pods still on them. I was thinking of pulling them up and sticking the roots in a bucket of water. I want to put them in my garage. Do the seed pods need sunlight to ripen? The garage is closed up and hot inside. It has only overhead dim fluorescent lighting. Anyone here know if the seeds will still ripen in such conditions?
