Perhaps these bluebirds knew that you'd be unable to witness their fledging had they waited that extra day. They wanted to be sure their grandpa saw them fly for the first time. They knew you needed cheering up at this sad time in your life and refused to wait until the "appropriate" day. You're a very special part of their lives and they know it.

You've been such a wonderful inspiration to us all with your stories, adventures and your marvelous photos. Thank you for sharing yet another beautiful fledging with us here.
