as far as the lily goes--I don't think you are supposed to be very successful with it as far south and with summers like we have. I just caught a break with 3 overcast days right when it started to bloom (it blooms a lot later than the other lilies I grow). Got lots of bulbils on that flore pleno and L leichtliniii--so I'm real excited.

the achimenes and winter growing oxalis are another "closet obsession" (with the rocks) for me--most people think I'm nuts doing them...not like that's never been said before--lol

some species are really quick from seeds--I'm going to get you started on them, they are really easy from seed. This one doesn't look too hot--first bloom, 16 months on seed for Zeph x 'Ruth Page' by those Zeph labuf's on the front porch

I'll have a lot better pics over the next few days--Chris can't understand why I'm so happy today ;)
