Right now the 'Summer Chocolate' Albizia is small, but I'm hoping once it grows taller it will form a burgundy canopy over this combo. This is an area of the gardens that was started in the fall of '06 and I've just started digging more holes in the area getting ready to expand the border. I've got a few more of the Eucomis that were planted years ago in the front of the house that have turned all green because they don't get enough sun. I'm thinking of moving them here and expanding this planting with a mixture of the Eucomis and several Yuccas ('Sapphire Blue' and 'Bright Edge') along the edge of the border to add some blue foliage and more gold.
