I also was thinking about the post that someone mentioned rivers being nearby attracting more butterflies. I live somewhat close to a river but not really close, but I do live near powerlines. They are closest at 5 houses down the road and to me that seems like butterfly paradise. Due to all the milkweeds, goldenrods, queen ann's lace and other wildflowers and un mowed grasses - it seems like that would draw butterflies in as well. Does anyone else think so?
