There was a Polydamas on the porterweed when I pulled in this evening, but it was too fast for me. Luckily, I had one eclose while I was at work. It nicely posed for me, and I really mean that because this guy knew how to fly. As soon as I opened the door outside he took off like a shot and did several circles of the area before heading for the oak tree. When I saw it fly like that I was very grateful it didn't try it in the house. I've had Zebra Swallowtails loose in the house before and it's just not fun to chase them; Dad thought it was hilarious, though.
