I just came in from rescuing my garden from being completely overrun with weeds. Some of my tomatoes have BLOSSOMS! I'm so excited. Honestly, if I don't get anything else from my garden, I want tomatoes. It rained quite a bit while we were away so everything was nicely watered. (We have a friend who would have watered things if needed.)

So, about our trip. We left here on June 29 which was a Sunday. Cordeledawg, I live on an island near mouth of the Moose River which empties into James Bay. When we go on vacation in the summer, we take a boat over to the mainland and then get on the train. The train usually takes about 5 hours but since they're doing construction on the tracks, it took us about 7 hours - which means that we got in at 1 am. In the winter it's just a basic train with a snack car but in the summer they add a nice dining car and a sky-roof car. They also have a kid's car in the summer which is sooo nice. It's called the Polar Bear Express if you want to google it.
