So, I guess things really ARE growing here. . .not as bleak as it seems I guess. Although some of this year's plantings are rather dismal, there is still lots of growth going on. Here is the "un"potager and the front bed. Just about everything visible in the front bed against the house was planted last year and is doing really well this year. The dicentra is just about done, but the hydrangeas are just coming out. The ligularia "rocket" is blooming as is the astible. The potager, on the other hand, seems to be presenting a mixed bag of success and not so successful. Nonetheless, I like the way it came out. And, I love the way the camera gave my house an arched roof line and an unusually shaped front door. Kinda wish it really looked like this!
