I took a few pictures, snipped a few spent blooms and headed into town for lunch with a friend and then took a house tour which was a fund raiser for the Preservation Trust. Got to walk through some lovely homes and a few gardens. Homes all very done, except one that was charmingly quaint and actually appeared lived in. The others all maybe too done. No breathing allowed. The gardens all had lots and lots and lots and lots of blue hydrangeas. Maybe too many. But a fun couple of hours. The best thing I saw to imitate was a great long window sill in a kitchen above the sink that the owner had had a piece of 1/4 plate glass cut to fill the length of the sill to put plants on. No water stains, easy to clean and it looked great. Here is caladium 'Florida Moonlight' from Brent and Becky which virtually all white. kind of cool.
