Yes, the air is crisp... but as you climb the mountains, the altitude can make you dizzy and light headed... it happened to me at the top of Pikes Peak... we had 30 mins to take pics before starting back down, and I spent most of that time sitting down, because I felt like I was going to fall down. I did go outside the gift shop just before the train left, but I couldn't get near the edge... I hugged the building ... made my fear of heights even worse.
