We just let the the grass burn up. Please explain why the weeds are so happy, no matter what? Sequee, We watered part of the gardens yesterday as the weather report called for showers today. Also say we may get real rain tomorrow. Now 70 degrees and not looking like rain. Watering restrictions are in effect for those on town water. We have a well, but I am using as little as possible. Victor, I use what I see posted here from those along Long Island Sound as my "bellwether" . Far better than the weatherman. Funny, I always thought the word had to do with the weather, not so.... rather a male sheep with a bell around it's neck that leads the flock. I have misspelled it for years, along with everything else. Lilies seem happy despite the lack of moisture, but I plant them deep. Here is Orienpet Lily Hybrid 'Satisfaction' which is fat and happy.
