Lin, you did GREAT with night shots.
When I do mine, I don't have any light from any source *lol* so it really is pitch dark. I bring out the flashlight but when I'm ready to take the shot, I shut the flashlight off. When I aim my camera and go to push the button, 1/2 way my camera illuminates what is going to be in the picture so that is how I gauge if my flower is centered. I usually take 5 pictures of each flower (I have 5 flash settings) and even take 1 picture without the flash. Then when I come in and upload my pictures, I take the best of the 5 pictures and delete the other 4. I always make sure I have the little flower (macro) button on too. I know it's not the "professional" system but it's the system I use *lol*
Brenda, I can't believe it but I think your season is just a little bit behind my season. I thought Maine was the furthest behind everyone but I truly think Idaho may be a week even two behind us. Unbelievable!
I love foxglove and your dusk picture is just beautiful. I think my love of foxglove is what really attracts me to Sinningia eumorpha type flowers :)

Gail, I can't get over how fast those epis have grown! Beautiful!!! They will be blooming before you know it! I know one of them is 3 Oranges and I know you love orange flowers so I can't wait to see it bloom.
I can't believe how humid it is there! No wonder your flowers just bloom and bloom and bloom! It looks like a jungle. That picture of the orchid with that humidity is just ominous! I have NEVER seen humidity like that! Unbelievable.
