Gail and Lin your plants are just so beautiful, I can not even imagine growing "houseplants" like yours outside!! But I also can not imagine no perennials, mercy I couldn't garden at all without them I'm so lousy at it. I need plants that come back for me. LOL

On the up side I do not have to worry about any poisonous snakes here, it is too cold and the winters too long for poisonous snakes to live!! YEA!!!

On the other hand I won't venture too far out after dark because of bears!! LOL I have had them come right into the edge of our garage and swipe the trash can!! Which is why our trash is kept in the garage in the first place, to keep the bears out of it!! Sometimes at night with our bedroom window open our dogs start barking like crazy and this really strong musty scent comes in and DH tells me a bear is in the yard roaming about .... trying to figure out how he can get to our trash in the garage!

But at dusk this evening I took some pictures outside, as Nancy said, after Kim's beauties we'd all have to try it!

The peachy colored columbine with the yellow center at dusk .... another that I dug up at the 60 year old home last year....
