Most of mine are slowly dying along the picket fence. I have been spraying with fungicide, but it's not helping with the rust, so will just let them go so I can collect seeds. Then I will clean that area out and start some new seeds. I'll probably remove the bark and spray again along the ground, fence, and concrete donuts.

I have some MGs growing along the backyard privacy fence. They to are developing rust despite anything I try to do to prevent the spread. It continues to storm and rain here. A lot of wind blowing when the storms roll in. So ... losing battle against the fungus right now. But the blooms are still beautiful!

Here is one of the ones against my privacy fence. Not sure what it is. I am wondering if it is a seed I received from Arlan which he labeled "Dia". Maybe Arlan will see this photo and let me know. (Hint, hint!)
