Power Company murdered one of my 100 year old Specimen Oak Trees after a freak October (Friday the 13th) 2006 snow storm dumped over 2 feet of snow on the area in a few hours. Nearly EVERY tree in WNY was severely damaged as they all still had leaves on their branches. I'll post a picture of that for a visual. Normally, we don't get snow until closer to Thanksgiving. We went 8 days without power. Glad for the greenhouse to warm things up all sunny day. Only lost one greenhouse plant to cold. |
