bbrookrd wrote: WNYwillieB, pretty good "make do" pond. Do you run a pump? I love the idea of starting a run of stream down to your "crick". I grow up with cricks and creeks, but no brooks. Now I have a brook in Vt and no creeks or cricks. Regardless, I love having water. Amy, I am a fan of any dianthuses. Or however the plural is spelled. Love "pinks" especially the white ones and any that have a good fragrance. I have a black pearl pepper in one of my containers and I love the color too. It is one I have had for a few years and it winters over, but struggles in the GH, but takes off again come summer. My big excitement is that I have carpenters arriving in a few min. to finish my new gate and fence. End of the ugly mess, I hope. Hollyhocks are starting. My old reliable peach single. Patti |
