Siamese ARE "different". My great uncle had a magnificent male Siamese that would let no one but him get near it. My great aunt had to put it down after my uncle died because it would not take food from here, but attacked her. Mei-Mei is "supposed to be my wife's cat, but she likes to hang around me. Misha has spent half her life sitting on my lap or walking across my keyboard as I earned her food editing books and journal articles. Once, to show her displeasure at being left alone for a weekend, she urinated on my laptop and fried the motherboard!! (She's still my favorite!)
