Oh, that brazilplants website has some great looking sinningias! I have not ordered any seed from the Gesneriad Society yet but did have a list I made a month or so ago ... I need to find that list. I really would like to try the Sinn Leucotricha (sp) again. Brenda sent me a little one in trade last year and it was in the terrarium but must have died cause I haven't seen it in a long, long time! I think it would have re-sprouted by now if it was still viable. There's so much stuff in that terrarium, I really should clean it out one of these days but I kinda like the look of fullness that it has right now ... so many different plants, different colors and textures.

Wow Bonnie, you do have a lot of seedlings growing there! You must be the Sinningia Queen! I am so amazed at the size of some of y'all's collections! I don't know how you all have the time for so many plants ... especially if you work! I haven't worked in 16 years and I can't find the time to take care of the plants I have and I don't have anywhere close to what some of you grow. I am down to two lighted gessie stands inside the house, and they aren't real large stands.

We painted the back of our house today and I moved more plants back onto the new deck. I am so glad all the pool and deck work is finally complete ... it does look nice. I think I posted about the plant hanging system my husband did for me out there? He bought a bunch of wrought iron plant brackets and a bunch of those steel poles used for chain link fencing and pvc caps for the ends, painted it all dark brown to match the aluminum pool enclosure and I hung almost all of my plants back out there today. Here's a picture I took this evening - mostly hoyas hanging on the new pole. I will take a pic tomorrow of the pool and deck. I still have quite a few more plants to move inside and hope to get some of them back in place tomorrow.

Boy are the fireworks flying around our neighborhood! Louder than I remember it ever being on past holidays, I guess everyone is getting into the spirit this year. There will be more fireworks at the Daytona International Speedway later tonight when the race is over. Those we can see from our backyard because the Speedway is only about a mile from us ... they light up the sky!

Hope everyone has had a happy and safe 4th and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
