brewingluminous wrote: Early Blight or Septoria Leaf Spot? Hello, this is my first year growing vegetables since I was a young child. I have a few tomato and pepper plants in 25-30 gallon containers with holes in the bottom, here in zone 5. They were all purchased as plants and transplanted about two weeks ago. One of my tomato plants has been showing what appears to be leaf disease, which started from the bottom leaves and is moving up. I haven't noticed any bugs or blemishes on the stem. From what I can discern, I'd make an uninformed guess that this is either septoria or early blight but I can't really determine which of the two? It has been very rainy and humid here lately. Here are a couple more images: Top of Tomato Leaf: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j116/sunbucket/Garden/DSC_... I've also noticed that my otherwise healthy habanero pepper plants have begun to show a strange silvery sheen in the upper leaves only, focused around the veins. I'm not sure if this is anything to be concerned about or if it could be sun burn or possibly over fertilization near the roots?
