We saw a hummer out nectaring from the blooms in my front yard garden on Friday. My daughter even got a photo of it on her cell phone! It came back several times, so I put the feeders back out in the front and back yard. Haven't seen it since that one day! But now I know they are here during the summer months too! I wasn't expecting to see any until September. So that makes me thrilled!!!! I think the hummer was a juvenile because it didn't know what to think of the feeder. My other hummers go to the feeders first ... and then the flowers! :-) Here is a photo of the entire vine! It's really pretty! |
