I read up on AE, then called my DH to ask him some questions. It seems like a lot of the symptoms are the same as in AE, but neither of us have noticed any shaking. He handles getting the feed so I made sure we were in fact feeding them what I thought we were feeding them. We were told years ago that you DO NOT feed poults medicated feed, that it could kill them, but I joined DG right before we got this group of poults and seen it mentioned several times that feeding medicated feed was a must, so that's what I told him. He told me that they were on medicated feed over 2 weeks ago. Today he said they weren't on medicated feed until Sat, when we changed feed brands.

Wondering if cocci might be an issue I did a web search to see exactly what it is and what the signs of it are. The most informative article I found talked all about dirty conditions, dirty waters and dirty feeders. We don't have any of these going on, so if they have cocci I'm not sure how they got it. Then I read about treatment with milk and remembered tf suggestions this as a treatment in keets, so I am going to give them some. I figure it couldn't hurt them.

Here's a pic of some of the poults and some chicks in the outdoor movable pen we have them in. The little turkey laying down is just sleeping.
