Not enough to do much with, except eat as a snack. He loves them, I don't. I planted a couple of new ones along another bed this year too. The Veggie bed has no real surprises except bulb fennel, celeriac , chard and artichokes. We got only a few artichokes last year. I wintered over a couple of plants that were looking great all spring, then along came a dumb blond and she ( I ) forgot about them and left them to dry out behind the door. I will try again this year. Our veggie bed is not level, not in the best light, and has a cedar growing up in the middle of it, but I hope it will produce something besides weeds and bugs. Love stuffed blossoms sans d'insectes. Patti |
