This was talk about how the genes determines the looks of a flower, but apparently the shape and texture of the leaves are controlled by this rule as well. I studied my seedlings very carefully today and it appear that all of the crosses in large took the shape of the plants used as mothers (seedbearer). It could be, because I have not planted so many different crosses that this is not generally true, but here is what the seedlings shelf revealed today. Hofwil x L`Amour takes on shape after Hofwil and are x candida type. L`Amour x Hofwil takes shape after L`Amour. The same does Golden hybrid x L`Amour. These have the characteristics after the mother and so has L`Amour x Golden hybrid. |
