Grass. A few years ago in mid June I reseeded an ugly patch of land that had been a dumping ground for years then left as a big weed patch. It was full of stinging nettle, raspberry, and broken bottles, but we cleared it and put down some seed and a lot of straw. I watered daily when I was there and my dear neighbor did it when I wasn't. It needed mowing in Aug. It wasn't lawn, but nice green grass. I would give it a shot. Here is the site. We wanted to clean it up so we could enjoy the great old wall on the property. It is actually the back wall of the blacksmith shop that was on the property from the 1850's until 1930's. Patti
