We have finally started our new pond. It is going to be 45'x10' and 2' deep. We are building it 1/2 in ground and 1/2 out of ground. It is going to house our new victoria if I am lucky. We are getting our backhoe to do all the digging work for us. Then we will just have to go in and touch it up. All around the pond is a hill that will be planted with our banana's and other tropicals. Will keep them all in huge pots buried in the ground so we can just pull them up and put in greenhouse over winter. We are going to install a massive hoopframe over the pond during the winter to give some plants a headstart in the spring. But anyways, I needed a new pond. My other 4 have really filled up and no room for anything else. Just can't wait until this fall when I have to build a new one to house all the new plants I get this summer. HA HA. Will this illness never end?
