I then dead headed a spirea BEFORE it bloomed. I hate the pink flowers with the lovely chartreuse leaves. Sinful. I found one that supposedly has white flowers with the same leaf color. I planted a small one and will swap it if it proves to be so. I do hope it is a good one. Here is the gal that got a pre-bloom shave today. Spiraea japonica Goldmound. She is well behaved here, no seedlings. But to me, a most disagreeable flower color in combination to the leaf. Patti |
