Insect and Spider Identification: CLOSED: Black spider with red back - I'm freaked - what is it?, 1 by supergrover

The spider is shiny red, not furry although it has tiny spikes coming off its legs. The stripe is reddish orange. I had some in a jar and they make a cobweb not a pretty web. They get almost on the hind legs when mad and act like they will strike you. They are fast and stand out against any background. I am very concerned this is a Red Back. Help Please.
