This rose has a story. My neighbor, she lives 3 doors down, is a foster mom, and does labrador dog rescue, was given this mini rose (from a grocery store) for Mother's Day 4 years ago. She handed it to me, while I was weeding one day, the rose was sadly wilted, and looked about dead, and she asked me if I could do something with it, that she did not want it. I stopped weeding, right where I was at, took the rose out of the pot, dug an impromptu whole, plopped it in, used some drinking water, and, well, here it is. It gets about 8-10" tall, if that, and maybe about that big around!
