If you are sitting on the patio and looking at it, the left side has 2 trough-shaped planters at an angle. If I take that out of the equation, because I can't plant there, the spot I have to fill is about 48 x 5'0 or so. In the middle more or less is a window from the house, and on the right side is a window well, so nothing can go in the right hand corner because there isn't one. LOL!

The whole thing is visible form the house, so that's whty I would like to plant it with perennials. The dirt all over the patio is from a couple of accidents i had while potting my pots. We'll hose it off when I get this little section planted.
