Here's another thing he built at my request, a plant rack. It goes up and down on pulleys, so I can have hanging plants outside our window. He also built the screened room in the back. He calls it "2 x 4 engineering" because most of it is 2 x 4s nailed, bolted, or otherwise fixed together. Not fancy, but well-built and it suits us fine.
