Seems everyone I know has their birthday within these few weeks..DIL Melanie was Thursday, brought her flowers, a sign for pool area which say 'life is too short to drink CHEAP wine...she loves wine...then a hand blown wine goblet that says 'cheap wine, expensive goblet' and bought her a really good bottle of wine...then on Monday is good friend Diane's 65th birthday, so must take her out...busy/busy..

Bought at a garage sale a few weeks ago a large light globe, yesterday while shopping bought 5 pkgs. of glass blobs, thought I might glue them to the globe and then fill with grout..also at garage sale a few weeks ago bought a metal stand (plant stand) and sprayed it black..this globe could sit in it and look pretty amongst the flowers..

Ruby, thanks for your D-mail-was very thoughtful of you, but don't worry, I'm alive and kicking, just a bit tired...imagine that little angel "Miss Emily" already walking and 1 year old..no wonder you are a proud grandma...

Liz, you know you enjoy these 'swaps' your name is almost always first on the list..

Carol, have fun with company..would imagine you are getting much the same as we are today...might give you the opportunity to sit/gab and catch up...love the yard..will make that visit..

Dawn, sounds as though you and Greg made the most of your Anniversary trip...

Vicki, you are probably the same as Carol and I are garden growth wise aren't you..it's a pleasure just to go out each morning and see what's new and how much it's grown..must pick up more miracle grow for a good dosing..

Abbisgranma...a tin of tadpoles, how much fun is that..Mom and Aunt Muriel walked the pond and there were a few frogs sitting in the flowers and yep, I've a zillion of those tadpoles as well...

Gita, you working today? did enjoy reading the joke..not sure why someone would take offense to it..lack of something to do I guess.. not really risque...lol

Shar, you'd love my new book on roses..am sure you would..especially seeing you now have so many

Bev, sure hope your 'puppy' is improving..wow, better think about taking Sailor for those shots/pills..if they don't go outside much, do you think they need it? Isn't that wonderful for Scotty..what is his ultimate goal???

Jeannine, you enjoy the boating, season is too short not to go out each opportunity you can...laundry will always get done..your weekend as always is full to the brim..let's hope Murphy does get that new sister...is a sister he wants right?
